EFD's Management EFD is headed by Elzora F. Duell, who also founded the company in 1980. Having served hospitals and physicians since 1980, Ms. Duell and the EFD management team are in touch with the needs of the medical community.  Working as a medical transcriptionist for another company, Ms. Duell had no intention of building a medical transcription business. However, she soon began to ask herself, "Is there a service that can satisfy its clients?" and "Is this the best way to provide medical transcription services?" She discovered that the answer to these questions was a resounding, "NO." At that point, Ms. Duell set on a path to build a medical transcription business that was committed to providing hospitals and physicians with outstanding medical transcription services.
