6. Does EFD provide training for the on-site dictation equipment? Yes, we provide on-site or virtual training, written instructions, and laminated pocket reference cards.
7. Who is responsible for the telecommunications costs? In most instances, EFD is responsible for the telecommunications expenditures. In rare cases, EFD and our clients share the costs. 
8. How do doctors and other healthcare professionals access the dictation system? The dictation system is accessed using a standard telephone.  EFD clients can also purchase a hand-held dictation unit that can download voice electronically to our voice server.  Separate installation pricing may apply.
9. How are dictated and transcribed reports made available? Completed transcribed documents are made available to the client through a secure electronic interface to a specified medical records system or other inbox location.
10. What turn-around times can EFD provide? EFD provides excellent turn-around time – 4 to 48 hours on any report type.   
11. What reporting programs does EFD support? EFD is proficient in several word processing packages and often adapts the medical transcription documents to suit a specific format as requested by clients. Additionally, by creating a customized interface to the hospital EMR system, EFD can deliver reports as they are completed.
